Star Twin Motors B.V. cares deeply about your privacy. E-commerce software
CCV shop Our e-commerce platform is developed with software from CCVshop. Personal data that you provide to us for the purpose of our services is shared with this party. CCVshop has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, and they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have concluded with them, CCVshop is obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. CCVshop uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored. CCVshop reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve the services.
Web hosting
CCV For our regular business email traffic, we use the services of ccv. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. CCV does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.
Payment processors
Mollie
To handle (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address, place of residence, and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, in this context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. Reviews
Kiyoh We collect reviews via the Kiyoh platform. If you leave a review via Kiyoh, you are required to provide a name and email address. Kiyoh shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. Kiyoh also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, Kiyoh may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with Kiyoh. Shipping and logistics
PostNL When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. Therefore, we need to share your name, address, and place of residence with PostNL. PostNL uses this data solely for the purpose of executing the agreement. In case PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL also provides your data to these parties.
Invoicing and accounting
CCVShop EXAMPLE: For our administration and accounting, we use the services of CCV shop. We share your name, address, and place of residence and details regarding your order. This data is used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. CCV shop is obligated to confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. CCV shop does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.
External sales channels
Marktplaats.nl We sell (part of) our products through the platform of Marktplaats.nl. If you place an order through this platform, Marktplaats.nl shares your order and personal data with us. We use this data to process your order. We treat your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.
Purpose of data processing
General purpose of processing We only use your data for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time - other than at your request - we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data is not shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality based on the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.
Automatically collected data Data automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (such as your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data. Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations In certain cases, Star Twin Motors B.V. may be required by law to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by government agencies. In such a case, we are obliged to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities that the law offers us. Retention periods We retain your data as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you notify us of this, we will also consider it as a forget request. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents we have produced based on your assignment.
